There must always be visual line of sight to the drone
All drones over 250 g must be registered
In detail:
In China, all drones over 250 g must be registered. Registration must be done online. This website is in Chinese, for this reason there is an English manual. When registering, you must provide your name, a valid ID or passport number, a Chinese mobile phone number, an email address, the product and serial number of the drone, and the intended use. For commercial drone flights, you must request a license from the CAAC. The same applies to drones over 7 kg. The biggest hurdle is the Chinese mobile phone number, as you can only provide it after entering China. It is therefore explicitly permitted to import the drone into the country and only then register it. After the registration you have to attach a sticker with a QR-code to the drone, it has to be easily recognizable. Basically a drone flight in China requires a lot of sensitivity. One should always inform oneself locally about the rules. Of course, flights in the vicinity of military installations are strictly forbidden.

Exceptions:
For drones over 7 kg or for flights in cities you need a CAAC license.
